Two Roosters sign with professional clubs
August 1st, 2008It has taken along time coming but finally two Roosters players have signed for professional clubs. Before the start of the season John Paxton signed for National League 2 side Hunslet Hawks. After a four week trial at Super League side Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, Michael Sykes has signed a contract until the end of the season.
John made his first team debut for Hunslet in an away fixture at Gateshead. Hunslet are located in the South Leeds area and play their home games at the John Charles Stadium. They are a club with a rich tradition but have struggled over the last few years. Read the rest of this entry »
