The Roosters are an amateur open age Rugby League Club that plays in the eastern region of the Rugby League Conference.
Originally founded in 1991 in the Cambridgeshire town of St Ives. New players, administrators or supporters are always welcome. You can contact us through our web forum on this site or come down on any match day. Admission is free.
St Ives Roosters opened their season in dramatic fashion in the Coventry Bears Invitational 9's Tournament. An under strength Roosters, featuring three players making their first team debuts, reached the final of the competition. They pushed hosts Coventry all the way in a very bruising final before going down 12 - 6. More....
For the second consecutive season the St Ives Roosters Matchday programme has been voted "Programme of the Year" for the Rugby League Conference. Roosters Club Secretary, Steve Bennett, accepted the award at the recent RLC meeting.
