Sadly the Cambridge Eagles, a founder member of the RLC, have had to withdraw from the competition. The scheduled home and away matches with Cambridge have therefore been cancelled.

For the third consecutive season, the St Ives Roosters Matchday programme has been voted "Programme of the Year" for the Rugby League Conference. Ian Hill's professionally produced programme has now won this award for the 2006, 2007 and 2008 season and is an outstanding achievement.
It was cup final heartbreak for the second consecutive year for the St Ives Roosters as they lost to National Regional Champions Coventry Bears in the East Midlands Rugby League 9’s competition. In a repeat of last years final the game proved to be a very aggressive encounter with the Roosters receiving very little support from the referee who appeared to be intimidated by the very vocal home supporters.More....
